Fluctuart Art Gallery
“Réinventer la Seine”, was the challenge in the call for projects won by Fluctuart. The Seine is today enriched, on its banks left bank. Designed by the architecture agency Seine Design, this floating building is light and adapted to the landscape of the Seine.
Fluctuart is the first floating urban art center of the world.
It consists of various volumes that allow to host temporary exhibitions, a permanent collection, interventions in situ, a specialized bookstore, cultural events, creative workshops and a rooftop, place of exchanges, meetings and sharing. Enriched with one-off artist residencies, it thus highlights the participation of all actors of the urban scene by the presence of professionals in the arts and culture, artists, recognized or emerging, as well as institutions.
The space of 1000 m2, completely transparent and with three levels, is located at the foot of the Pont des Invalides.
